Glenda M. Moon

Glenda M. Moon, age 62, of Fennimore passed away, surrounded by her beloved family by her side, on Sunday morning November 24, 2019 at the Atrium Post Acute Care in Lancaster. She was born on January 15, 1957 in Waukesha the daughter of Albert and Vesta (Ward) Arms. She was united in marriage to Tony Moon on September 10, 1982 in Lancaster.

Glenda graduated from Fennimore high School in 1975 and then attended Southwest Technical College. She went to work for Advance Transformer of Boscobel for several years until being employed at Land’s End of Dodgeville until her retirement. Glenda enjoyed baking pies and cookies, flowers, traveling, and going camping and fishing and rides in their convertible. She was a very thoughtful person and demonstrated this by donating her hair to “Locks of Love”, feeding all the cats throughout, making quilts for all of her grandchildren, and always thinking of how to make our world a better place. Always adoring her family, especially her grandchildren, Glenda will always be remembered for her very kind, compassionate, and loving nature.  

Glenda is survived by her beloved husband Tony of Fennimore, two children; Heather (Phillip Pennekamp) Moon of Fennimore, James (Shelly) Moon of Cassville, five grandchildren; Henery, Jacob, Nova, Korbin, and Karsyn, and three step-grandchildren; Logan, Brielle, and William. She is further survived by her four siblings; Helen Arms-Johnson of Madison, Gloria (Mike) St Cyr of Princeton, Cyndy (Jim) Funk of Linden, and Gary Arms of Oshkosh along with several nieces and nephews. 

Glenda was preceded in death by her parents, brother-in-law Dave Johnson, nephew Gregg Knutson-St Cyr.

A private graveside service was held at the Stitzer Presbyterian Cemetery with family and close friends. The Larson Family Funeral Home of Fennimore assisted the family.
