Roselyne M. Stivarius

Roselynn M. Stivarius, age 63, of Stitzer, WI passed away on Tuesday morning November 26, 2019 at Orchard Manor in Lancaster. She was born to LaVerne and Mary Ann (Udelhoven) Stivarius on August 17, 1956 in Lancaster.

Rose graduated from Iowa-Grant High School in 1975 and began working at Rayovac of Fennimore along with doing data entry for Koschkee Transfer. She held various positions at Rayovac until being a forklift operator in the warehouse. Rose loved her job but had to retire in August of 2019 due to declining health. Rose enjoyed taking trips with friends, traveling in her motorhome, quilting, reading, completing puzzles, playing bingo, and doing yard work. She was always ready for the nightly episode of “Wheel of Fortune” at Rich and Brenda’s. She also took pleasure in collecting souvenir spoons and McDonalds toys. Rose was very compassionate and always thought of others especially when being a medical transport driver, and Girl Scout leader. She greatly adored her coworkers for their wonderful friendships.

Rose is survived by her sister Rita (Mark) Harmon and her brother Robert P. Stivarius both of Fennimore, nieces and nephews; Amanda (Jed) Schnitzler of Fennimore, Brandy (Joel) Ohman of Elkhorn, Bob Stivarius of Rewey, Jon Stivarius of Montfort, Dan (Crystal) Stivarius of Livingston, Donna Stivarius of Fennimore, and her great nieces and nephews; Katelyn, Clara and Breanna Schnitzler, and Wyatt, Hunter and Wade Stivarius, and daughter-in-law Jessica Margaret (Brian) Storlie of Farmington, MN.

Rose was preceded in death by her grandparents Peter and Mary Udelhoven and Clarence and Wilhelmina Stivarius, parents LaVerne and Mary Ann Stivarius, son Matthew Stivarius, brother Roger Stivarius, and dear friend Becky Belscamper.

A prayer service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday November 30, 2019 at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Fennimore with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service at the St Mary’s Catholic Church Hall. In lieu of plants and flowers a memorial fund is being established in loving memory Rose M. Stivarius.
