Dorothy M. Larson-Harris, age 88, of Platteville formerly of Cobb, WI passed away on Monday October 28, 2019 at Edenbrook of Platteville. She was born on November 8, 1930 in Cobb the daughter of John and Ruth (Ruzicka) Foreman. Dorothy was united in marriage to Marvin Larson on June 16, 1948 and then was married to James Harris on November 14, 1999.
Dorothy is survived by her two children; Terry D. (Margaret) Larson of Dubuque, IA and Deborah (Paul) Fritz of Stockton, IL, three grandchildren; Justin (Josephine) Larson of Stockton, IL, Jennifer Altfillisch and Fiancé Nick Williams of Stockton, IL, Traci (Jamie) Jorgenson of Hazel Green, and three step grandchildren; Conan Grap of Dubuque, IA, Mya (Kevin) Grap-Calaro of Dubuque, IA, and Sheena Gillen of Dubuque, IA, 17 great grandchildren and a sister-in-law Lois Foreman of Avoca along with several nieces and nephews.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Marvin Larson, second husband James Harris, son Leonard Larson, step granddaughter Nancy Brunton, three sisters; Ruth Forman, Joyce Walls, and Delores Lins, and brother Joseph Foreman.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday November 2, 2019 at the Otter Creek Church rural Highland with burial to follow in the Eden Cemetery in Eden Township, Iowa County, WI. Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service at the church on Saturday morning. The Soman-Larson Funeral Home is assisting the family.
