Harriet Marcia Brun

Harriet Marcia Brun, age 88, of Oshkosh, WI, formerly of Fennimore, WI passed away peacefully on January 9, 2026, at Aspire Senior Living, Oshkosh, WI. She was born on April 16, 1937, in Mt. Ida township, Grant County, the fifth daughter of Chester and Anna (Jensen) Graham. She was united in marriage to Herbert L. Brun on April 26,1958 at the Fennimore United Methodist Church. Together they raised three daughters, Cynthia (Cindy), Ann and Sara.

Upon graduation from Fennimore High School in 1955, she was employed by Interstate Drop Forge Company in Milwaukee, WI. Harriet was employed by the Fennimore School District at the Elementary School for the rest of her working career. Harriet was a member of the Fennimore United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women's and the Christian Fellowship. She actively volunteered in many church and community organizations. She and Herb were chosen Family of the Year in 2013.

Harriet’s priority was always her family and being a good homemaker. She loved spending time with her immediate family as well as her large extended family. She was known to always have homemade cinnamon rolls or chocolate chip cookies ready to share with her grandchildren. Harriet liked playing cards, board games, researching genealogy and going on family outings, especially with her grandchildren. Harriet supported all Fennimore School events, especially sports. She was an avid Badgers and Packers fan.

Harriet is survived by three daughters, Cynthia Brun Wagner of Oshkosh, WI, Ann (Randall) Alcorn of Franklin, WI, Sara Bogdan, of New Lenox, IL and honorary son Rene (Luciana) Leonel Filho of Brazil. She is further survived by six grandchildren, Michaela Wagner, Laura Wagner, Bradley (Michelle) Alcorn, Mark Jr (Alexis) Bogdan, Jennifer Bogdan, Adam Bogdan, and four great-grandchildren, Oliver and Charles Alcorn. Virginia and Beau Bogdan, Siblings Lorraine Fritsch, Peter (Bonnie) Graham Mary Graham.

Harriet was preceded in death by her husband Herbert, grandson Benjamin Alcorn, son-in-laws, Michael Wagner and Mark Bogdan, parents Chester and Anna Jensen Graham, mother-in-law Carroll Everson, siblings Catherine (Norbert) Strang, Evelyn (Clarence) Straka, Doris (Charles) Reamer, Nancy (Carlton) Severson, Eadie (Al) Felly, Paul (Patti) Graham and brother-in-law Merlyn Fritsch.
