Barbara E. Pascoe, age 78 of Fennimore, passed away on Tuesday morning July 9, 2013 at Vernon Memorial Healthcare in Viroqua. Barbara was born on July 10, 1934 the daughter of Wendell and Genieva (Dreher) VonFeldt. She was united in marriage to Kenneth Pascoe on Oct. 10, 1963 in Joliet, IL.
Barbara and Kenneth moved to rural Stitzer in 1969 when they purchased their farm. She enjoyed working with her husband and while he managed the fieldwork, Barbara managed the livestock. While continuing to work hard on the farm, Barbara opened the “Missing Inch” in Fennimore in 1986 until moving her business to Platteville in 1988. Her retirement in 2000 meant spending time with her children and adoring her grandchildren & great grandchildren. She even made time to go for motorcycle rides. Her gentle kindness for others and her giving heart will be forever cherished.
Barbara is survived by her five children; Kearney Winters of Spring Green, Kenneth Jr. (Janet) Pascoe of Boscobel, David Pascoe of Necedah, Bryce (April Fiedler) Pascoe of Blue River, Michael Pascoe of Manhattan, IL, 13 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren, son-in-law James Wheeler of Manhattan, IL. She is also survived by her five siblings; Jim (Theresa) VonFeldt of Tinley Park, IL, Eugene (Debbie) VonFeldt of Worth, IL, Sandra (Charlie) Szo of Dalton, IL, Cathy (Alex) Liddell of Joliet, IL, and Carol Caruso of Schererville, IN.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, husband Kenneth on May 27, 1998, son Keart Winters, daughter Patricia Wheeler, daughter-in-law Marian Winters, brother Roger VonFeldt, and two sisters; Pat Baxter and Joan Novotny.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday July 15, 2013 at the Larson Family Funeral Home in Fennimore with burial to follow in the Hillside Cemetery in Lancaster, WI. A visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at the funeral home on Monday morning.
