She was born on January 2, 2000, the daughter of Jeremy and Wende (Colson) Schafer. A 2018 graduate of Iowa-Grant High School, Katy found her passion in the automotive world, working at O’ Reillys Auto parts. Cars and automotive were something Katy genuinely loved and took pride in. MUSCODA – Thomas Argall, age 80, passed away suddenly on Sunday, May 10, 2026, at his home. He was born February 17, 1946, the son of Alfred and Madge (Brewer) Argall. After the death of his mother in October 1959, Tom became the cook and housekeeper for his father and two brothers. That was the start of a lifelong love of cooking. Tom attended the Mifflin Grade School and graduated from Iowa-Grant High School in 1964 where he participated in football, wrestling, and baseball. Garald V. Rossing

MOUNT IDA – Garald V. Rossing peacefully passed into eternal life at his home on April 30, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of dedication and love.  He was born on March 17, 1930, in the town of Highland, to Oren & Ruth (Fingerson) Rossing, graduated from Fennimore High School in 1948 and served time in the US Navy.  On June 1, 1951, he married Marian Volenec and they made their home in the Green River valley outside of Fennimore.
