FENNIMORE, WI / HEBRON, IL – Louis “Lou” Raymond Jastrzembski, age 82, has left his Earthly Home and Body for that of an Angel in Heaven, with his Lord on Saturday, April 25, 2026. He was born on August 19, 1943, in South Bend, Indiana, the son of Stanley and Alice Jastrzembski. Bette left this world peacefully on April 23, 2026, surrounded by her family, at the age of 85. Bette’s journey began on June 11, 1940, in La Crosse, Wisconsin, where she was born to Alice Knutson. MOUNT HOPE – James “Jim” John Schmitz, 86, of Mount Hope passed away April 15, 2026, on the family farm where he was born.   He was born on January 10, 1940, to Maynard and Loretta (Timmerman) Schmitz.  Jim graduated from Mt. Hope High School in 1957 and farmed until serving two years in the U.S. Army. Jim and Marlys (Nichols) Schmitz were married on December 20, 1969, and enjoyed many years farming together.
