Known to many as “Scooter,” Scott fought hard until his final moments and passed peacefully surrounded by his family. SOLDIERS GROVE – Kristen (Kris) Patricia Howell, age 27, passed away in an automobile accident on January 6th, 2026. Kristen and her bandmates were travelling in preparation to record music for Dewclaw, a collaborative music project that Kris was so incredibly passionate about when the accident occurred. Kristen was born to Roger and Julie (Mertz) Howell on August 23rd, 1998, with a full head of beautiful hair. Harriet Marcia Brun, age 88, of Oshkosh, WI, formerly of Fennimore, WI passed away peacefully on January 9, 2026, at Aspire Senior Living, Oshkosh, WI. She was born on April 16, 1937, in Mt. Ida township, Grant County, the fifth daughter of Chester and Anna (Jensen) Graham. She was united in marriage to Herbert L. Brun on April 26,1958 at the Fennimore United Methodist Church. FENNIMORE – Vicki L. Quincy, age 82, passed away peacefully on Friday January 2, 2026, at Dove Healthcare in Fennimore. She was born on March 13, 1943, the daughter of Harold and Marie (Aide) Evans. Vicki graduated from Lancaster High School in 1961. On April 4, 1970, she married the love of her life, Joseph Quincy, at the Fennimore United Methodist Church. MONTFORT – On the morning of January 2, 2026, Janice “Joy” Bickford, age 98, passed away peacefully. Joy was born on August 18, 1927, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the youngest child of Earling and Henrietta (Johnson) Swan. She was raised on a 120-acre dairy farm in Waukesha County, where she walked a mile and a half to a one-room schoolhouse and developed a lifelong love of music.
