FENNIMORE/SCOTTSDALE, AZ – Janet R. Carl, age 63, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday May 4, 2024, at Grant Regional Health Center in Lancaster. She was born on January 27, 1961, in Lancaster; the daughter and eleventh child of Leonard and Marian (Franzen) Carl. Janet graduated from Fennimore High School in 1979 and then attended UW-Platteville, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and journalism. There too, she made lifelong friends.
