DODGEVILLE – Kay A. Fritsch, age 67, passed away on Saturday morning February 24, 2024, at her residence after her courageous battle with cancer. She was born on January 14, 1957, in Madison, WI; the daughter of Carvor “Cub” and Betty (Wong) Higgins. FENNIMORE – Pamela “Pam” Jean Shumate, age 71, passed away on Tuesday morning February 20, 2024, at her residence, with her beloved family by her side. She was born on January 4, 1953, in Sparta, WI; the daughter of Curtis and Phyllis (Fish) Burnham. Pam graduated from Sparta High School and then was united in marriage to Sam Shumate on September 11, 1971, in Sparta. FENNIMORE – Glenn Ernell Larson, age 87, passed away on Wednesday February 14, 2024, peacefully in his sleep. He was born on June 6, 1936, the son of Cenious and Bessie (Cottingham) Larson. Glenn met the love of his life, Lois Staskal at community dances. They were united in marriage on April 4, 1959, and would have celebrated 65 wonderful years together this year. Glenn and Lois farmed on the family farm for many years in Fennimore Township that Glenn grew up on. Farming was a hard thankless job, but Glenn enjoyed it. FENNIMORE – Brock Joseph Esser, age 22, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 11, 2024. Brock was born on April 23, 2001; the son of Cody (Amanda) Esser and Kimberly (Marc) Sweeney. He attended Fennimore schools, where he enjoyed playing baseball and basketball. Brock graduated with the Fennimore class of 2019 and went on to work for Skyline in Lancaster, where he worked for three years. Recently, Brock worked at Reggie’s with his mom and his sister.
