Aelred H. Runde, age 102, of Lancaster, WI passed away on Monday March 27, 2023, at the Grant Regional Health Center in Lancaster. He was born on September 22, 1920, in Cuba City the son of Walter and Bernice (Splinter) Runde. Aelred was united in marriage to Pearl Bass on December 27, 1941, at the St. Clement Catholic Church in Lancaster. Aelred farmed in rural Lancaster for many years until retiring at the age of 75. William M. Budzinski, “Pastor Bud”, age 61, of Fennimore, WI, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday morning, March 24, 2023, at the Aspirus Stanley Hospital in Stanley, WI. He was born on October 1, 1961, in Wisconsin Rapids, WI, the son of Chester and Vera (Starks) James. Bud was united in marriage to the love of his life, Lori Schmidt, on September 16, 1989, in Appleton, WI. Bud graduated with his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and his Master of Divinity from Duke University. Bud pastored the following churches in the North Carolina

Jean L. Frey, age 87, of Fennimore passed away on Saturday morning March 11, 2023, at her residence. She was born on April 2, 1935, in Highland, WI, the daughter of Bert and Harriet (Tindell) Hooks. Jean was united in marriage to Alfred Frey on June 5, 1953, in Boscobel. She enjoyed horses, horseback riding and attending horse shows.  Jean also enjoyed playing cards, traveling, gardening, canning, golfing, painting and arts and crafts.  She had her artwork displayed at the Healing Arts Gallery at Crossing Rivers Health Center in Prairie du Chien and held the record for the most artwork

Gordon Samuel Whitish of Mineral Point, Wisconsin passed away on March 5, 2023, surrounded by his loving family, at the age of 78, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born to Samuel Whitish and Ruby (Edge) Whitish in Madison on November 10, 1944. Gordon grew up in the Montfort area and graduated from Iowa Grant High School in 1963. Sharon Jean Wells, age 82, of Fennimore, WI, passed away, leaving her pain behind, and with her loving sister and brother at her side Friday, March 3, 2023. She was born July 19, 1940, in Livingston, WI, the daughter of Howard and Betty Wells. Sharon attended grade school in Stitzer, WI, while her father co-owned the Stitzer Cheese Factory with his brother Vernon Wells.
