We are heartbroken and mourning the loss of our mother, Lois Mae Lyght, age 94, of Boscobel, WI who was called home on Friday, April 15, 2022. Mom lived a full life and would have celebrated her 95th birthday next month. We know she has a very special room in heaven and is reuniting with all the family members and friends who passed before her.  Lois married Clifford Lyght and went on to have 14 children. William "Bill" Moon

William “Bill” Moon, of Clinton, Iowa, age 86, passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2022.  He was born in Fennimore, WI on December 29, 1935, to the late Laverne and Rosie Moon.  Bill had worked in a cheese factory but for most of his working years he worked as a welder for Chicago Northwestern Railroad in Clinton, IA.  He enjoyed racing boats and quarter mile drag racing.  He was a black belt in Karate and also enjoyed downhill skiing, roller skating and lifting weights. Dianne L. (Howell) Turtenwald

Dianne Lynette (Howell) Turtenwald, age 74, of Fennimore, WI passed away unexpectedly on Monday April 4, 2022, at her residence, leaving this world, loving you. Dianne was the first daughter of George and Geneva (Lee) Howell born on January 12, 1948, in Boscobel. She grew up in Fennimore and graduated from Fennimore High School in 1966. Dianne was the first 16-year-old girl in our area to drive a dump truck for her dad at Concrete Products, Inc. She met Keith Fry hauling sand and gravel to Fennimore and they were married on September 17, 1966. Kowalski-Kieler Inc. bought out Concrete

Claris E. Schurz

Claris E. (Meyer) Schurz, age 93, went to her eternal rest on Tuesday evening, March 29, 2022, in Huntington, Indiana. Claris was born on January 23, 1929, near Wauzeka, WI. to Viva (Richmond) Meyer and Clare C. Meyer. She graduated from Wauzeka High School in 1946, and married Lawrence Schurz on Sept. 25, 1946, and they spent 68 years together. They started their life together in Prairie du Chien, WI and then moved to his uncle’s dairy farm near Wauzeka. They then moved to Hollywood, FL where Lawrence worked as a carpenter with one of his Marine Corps buddies until

Grant William Edge

Grant William “Sonny” Edge, age 80, of Fennimore, WI passed away on Thursday March 31, 2022, at the Grant Regional Health Center in Lancaster with his wife and family by his side. He was born on December 20, 1941, in Platteville the son of Loretta. Grant was a carpenter all his life. He worked at David Lumber in Potosi, Schrader Lumber in Fennimore, Jim’s Building Center in Fennimore and up to his retirement he worked at Lands’ End in Dodgeville. On November 29, 1963, he was united in marriage to Mary Lou Stoney. They had been together for 57 years.
