Melissa Jo “YaYa” Uren, age 41, of Fennimore, Wisconsin passed away on Tuesday August 24, 2021, at Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg after her courageous battle with Neuroendocrine Cancer surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 21, 1980, in Lancaster, Wisconsin the daughter of Robert and Cindy (Parshall) Uren. Melissa was a beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt, cousin, friend, coworker, and dog mom. She grew up in Fennimore and graduated from Fennimore High School class of 1998. Michael “Mike” Ferrie, age 71, of Fennimore, Wisconsin passed away unexpectedly, on Monday August 23, 2021, in Friendship, Wisconsin. He was born on July 13, 1950, in Stanley, Wisconsin the son of Richard and Theresa (Glisner) Ferrie. He was united in marriage to Rita Gleason on February 6, 1981, in Fennimore. Mike was a simple man who believed in a hard day’s work, spending time with family, and being a dedicated friend that they could depend on. He worked as a welder until the early 1980’s. Connie Mae Jackering, age 75, of Fennimore passed away on Sunday August 22, 2021, at Divine Rehabilitation and Nursing Services in Fennimore. She was born on September 1, 1945, in Dodgeville the daughter of Veryl and Lydia (Birch) Stich. Connie was united in marriage to Orlin Jackering on January 25, 1964, at the St. Clement Catholic Church in Lancaster.  Connie graduated from Fennimore High School in 1963. She was employed in the housekeeping department at the Fennimore Good Samaritan Society. Connie was later employed at the Bahl Cheese Factory in the retail store. Elenora M. Puckett, age 93, passed away on Saturday morning August 21, 2021, at Divine Rehabilitation and Nursing Services in Fennimore. She was born on July 20, 1928, in Milwaukee, the daughter of William and Grace (Schoville) Young. Elenora was united in marriage to Harold Puckett on May 4, 1945, in Prairie du Chien. Elenora took extraordinary pride in being a dedicated grandmother, a wonderful friend to many along with putting a smile on one’s face with her quick wit. Ruth “Ruthie” Paul, age 102, of Montfort, Wisconsin, died peacefully at home on July 3, 2021.  She was born on a farm in Eden Township outside Montfort on January 6, 1919 to Vurl Heller and Hazel Biddick Heller. Ruth met Silas Paul of LaFarge at Platteville State Teachers College and they married in Albuquerque, New Mexico on June 17, 1944, where he was stationed with the Army Air Corps.  After graduation from college Ruth taught high school English in Spring Green for a few years.  From 1953 to 1969 she and Si owned and operated the Heller-Paul Grocery in Montfort.
