Bette Ann Hoffman, age 73, of Lancaster formerly of Glen Haven, passed away on Sunday evening April 12, 2020 surrounded by her beloved family.  She was born on January 6, 1947 in Platteville, the daughter of Embert and Arlene (Adrian) Wackershauser. Bette Ann graduated from Bloomington High School. She was united in marriage to Jerome A. “Jerry” Hoffman on August 28, 1965 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Glen Haven. Cheryl A. Hromadka, age 62, of Fennimore passed away on Sunday evening April 5, 2020 at her residence surrounded by her beloved family. She was born on March 1, 1958 in Dubuque, Iowa the daughter of Lawrence and Eileen (Schumacher) Ritter. Cheryl was united in marriage to Joseph Hromadka on August 17, 1983 in Lancaster. Cheryl loved being a devoted wife and mother to her family. She enjoyed raising her family and being there for her children. Roger Kingery of Livingston passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, on Friday morning April 3, 2020, at the age of 81. Roger was born on April 16, 1938, in Dodgeville the son of Lester and Eleanor (Heuer) Kingery and raised in Cobb, Wisconsin. He graduated from Cobb High School on May 16, 1956, and after spending two years with the Wisconsin National Guard during high school, he enlisted in the United States Army on August 8, 1956. Daniel Bryan Knutson, age 70, of Montfort passed away on Friday morning April 3, 2020 at his residence. He was born on May 23, 1949 in Dodgeville the son of Bryan “Nip” and Jane (Loy) Knutson. He was united in marriage to Zoe Zimple on Aug. 13, 1999 in Fennimore. Dan was raised on a farm outside of Livingston. After graduating from high School, he attended U.W. Catherine “LaVon” Schurman, age 88, of Bagley, WI passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday April 1, 2020 at her residence. She was born on April 6, 1931 in Cassville the daughter of Adam and A. Marie (Ackerman) Kirschbaum. LaVon was united in marriage to Jacob J. Schurman Jr. on Aug. 5, 1955 in Caledonia, MN. Following her graduation from Cassville High School, she attended UW-Platteville for one year. She knew in her heart, a career in business was more to her liking. Jake and LaVon moved to Bagley in 1960 when they purchased what would become Schurman’s Bar and Supper Club.
