Robert C. Fett, age 99, of Platteville, WI passed away in Fennimore, WI on December 25, 2019 after a brief illness due to complications from a fractured hip. Robert was born on April 30, 1920 in Cobb, WI the son of Henry and Martha (Brice) Fett and grew up in the Castle Rock area where his parents, both from immigrant German ancestors, farmed for many years. Geraldine A. McReynolds, age 96, of Fennimore formerly of Livingston, Wisconsin passed away on Tuesday December 17, 2019 at the Divine Rehabilitation and Nursing in Fennimore. She was born on March 20, 1923 in Livingston the daughter of Lewin and Vennie (Markee) Millard. Geraldine was united in marriage to William McReynolds on January 13, 1941 in the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. In her younger years, Gerry worked various jobs. Bernadine C. Cook, age 93, of Montfort, Wisconsin passed away, with her family by her side, on Sunday December 15, 2019 at Upland Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation in Dodgeville.   She was born on March 7, 1926, in Clifton Township, Grant County, Wisconsin the daughter of John and Julia (Winters) Straka. Following her graduation from Cobb High School, Bernadine worked at the Cobb Canning Factory and for Parker Pen in Fennimore until May 11, 1948 when Bernadine was united in marriage to Roscoe Cook at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Montfort.  After their marriage she and Roscoe went to work on

Henry "Joe" Zifka

Henry “Joe” Zifka, age 82, of Stitzer, Wisconsin passed away on Wednesday evening December 4, 2019, at his residence in Stitzer. He was born on January 4, 1937, in the son of Stephen “Zip” and Viola (Hirsch) Zifka. Henry graduated from Fennimore High School in 1955 and then enlisted in the U.S. Army and served two years in Korea. After being honorable discharged he returned home and worked for the Grant County Highway Department and retired in 1998 after 20 years of service. Marcia D. Strack, age 67, of Lancaster formerly of Fennimore passed away unexpectedly on Saturday afternoon December 7, 2019 at University Hospital in Madison. She was born on August 27, 1952 in Olin, Iowa, the daughter of Lewis and Mildred (Valentine) Tarbox. Marcia was united in marriage to Charles “Chuck” Strack and later married Bernard Cull. Marcia graduated from Olin High School. After moving to Fennimore, she babysat for many families along with working at the Cottonwood Supper Club in Fennimore.
