Norma Neuroth, age 98, of Fennimore, died on Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2017 at Grant Regional Health Center in Lancaster. Norma was born on Oct. 19, 1919, at home in North Lancaster Township, Grant County, WI, the daughter of Oliver and Ruth (Wagner) Alexander. She was united in marriage to Charles Neuroth on Feb. 16, 1944 in rural Fennimore. Norma lived all but the last nine years of her life within the same one mile stretch of Mt. Ridge Road. Janet R. Kohlenberg, age 72, of Livingston, died on Tuesday morning Dec. 5, 2017 after a brief stay at the Fennimore Good Samaritan Society in Fennimore. She was born on Jan. 23, 1945, in Lancaster the daughter of Charles and Francis (Udeloven) Breihan. Janet was united in marriage to her high school sweetheart James Kohlenberg on April 2, 1966, at the Lancaster United Methodist Church. Janet graduated from Lancaster High School in 1963 and was diagnosed with MS in the spring of 1964. She lived with a strong faith and loved her family to the fullest. Steven L. Zart, age 57, of Fennimore, died on Sunday afternoon, Dec. 3, 2017, at UW Hospital in Madison. Steven was born on Feb. 5, 1960, in Lancaster, WI the son of Robert and Norma (Burton) Zart. He married Eileen VanNatta on Oct. 14, 2000. Following graduation from Fennimore High School in 1978, Steve began farming with his brothers in Mt. Ida Township. He had a passion for farming and especially enjoyed looking after his dairy cattle. James W. Soman, age 72, of Fennimore, died on Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017, at the Fennimore Good Samaritan Society. James was born on August 12, 1945 in Green Bay, WI the son of Walter and Elizabeth (Wedewart) Soman. Jim moved to Livingston in 1959 and graduated from Iowa-Grant High School. He received his degree from the University of Wisconsin Madison and then graduated from U.W. Madison Law School. Jim married Jane Hazlewood on June 7, 1975 in Fairwater, WI. He worked for Conrad Frantz until starting his own practice in 1981. Jim owned and operated Soman Law Office until retiring
