Lee G. Howell, age 76, of Bagley, died on Sunday June 27, 2016, at Grant Regional Health Center in Lancaster. Lee was born on Sept. 5, 1939, in Lancaster, WI, the son of Cecil and Ramona (Boyd) Howell. Lee graduated from Fennimore High School in 1957. He then attended the mining college in Platteville until being hired at John Deere in Dubuque, IA. Lee worked at John Deere for 30 years, retiring in 1987, at the age of 48. Cassville, WI – Norma June (nee Andrew) Groom, age 87, passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2016, at Atrium Post Acute Care in Lancaster. Norma was born June 13, 1929, on her family’s farm in rural Livingston, WI, the youngest child of Frank and Bertha (Gundlach) Andrew. She attended East Crow Branch Grade School and graduated from Livingston High School in 1947. She received her Teaching Certificate from Platteville State Teacher’s College in 1949 and taught at the New California and West Crow Branch country schools. She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from the Wisconsin State College

Fennimore – John A. “Jack” Petrick, age 80, died on Wednesday afternoon June 8, 2016 at HCR Manor Care in Platteville. Jack was born on June 9, 1935 in Fond du Lac, WI the son of John and Ellen (Utter) Petrick. He was united in marriage to Karen Fritz on May 27, 1958. After graduating from Fennimore High School, Jack joined the US Army, serving from June 1958 thru June 1960 and earning the rank of sergeant. Upon returning to Fennimore, Jack began working for 7-UP as a delivery driver until being employed at the First Sate Bank in Fennimore.
