Fennimore – Melissa Lynn Fry, age 40, of Fennimore, went home to be with her lord on Monday, August 24, 2015 surrounded by her devoted and loving husband Matt, mom Mary, and family. Despite putting up a courageous battle, she lost the fight to heart disease. Melissa was born on March 28, 1975 in Prairie du Chien, WI the daughter of Terry and Mary (Gotto) Breuer. Prairie du Chien – Gilbert E. “Gene” Knutson, age 90, of Prairie du Chien, died unexpectedly at home on Thursday morning, August 20, 2015. Gilbert was born on July 12, 1925 in Clifton Township, Grant Co., WI the son of Gilbert W. and Anita (Gundlach) Knutson. He married Lexa Mae Hodgson on Sept. 29, 1944 and later Dana on May 4, 2004. Following graduation from Livingston High School, Gene was drafted into the US Army and served his country from 1944-1945. Patch Grove, WI-Laurel Lynn “Laurie” Burow, was called to her heavenly home on Aug. 17, 2015 at the age of 67. Laurel was the daughter of John & Alvida (Johnson) Reich and born into God’s family through Holy Baptism in 1948. She was united in marriage to Thomas Burow on Aug. 8, 1970 in Milwaukee, WI. Lovetta Pauline Bailey, age 85 of Fennimore, died on Tuesday evening August 18, 2015 at Lancaster Care Center in Lancaster. Pauline was born on April 2, 1930 in Rensselaer, IN the daughter of Sherman and Jessie (Denniston) Simonin. She married James A. Bailey on March 24, 1951 in Rensselaer, IN. Pauline was a dedicated member of the Trinity Evangelical Free Church in Fennimore since 1963. Aside from helping on the farm, Pauline worked at Badger Ordinance in Baraboo during to mid to late 1960’s and at Rayovac in Fennimore for almost 25 years. Livingston, WI-Carol Ann Andrew passed away at home on Wednesday August 12, 2015 surrounded by her family. She was born on July 11, 1925 in Eden Township, to William and Vera (Lindauer) Trankle. She married John Andrew on August 1, 1949 in Cobb. Carol and John farmed outside of Livingston for many years raising four children.  Carol began her teaching career at Carpenter School near Mifflin in 1951.  She returned to Platteville University to earn her BA degree in 1970.  From 1970 to 1972 Carol taught at ST.
