Stitzer – Donald L. Johnson, age 86, died on Tuesday Sept. 9, 2014 at his residence in Stitzer.  Donald was born on June 12, 1928 in Mount Vernon, WI the son of LaVerne and Hazel (Harker) Johnson.  He married Beverly Rue on Nov. 19, 1982 in Madison, WI. Fennimore – Wilma V. Peterson, age 89 of Fennimore, died on Tuesday morning Sept. 2, 2014 at the Fennimore Good Samaritan Society.  Wilma was born on Feb. 27, 1925 in Clifton Twsp., Grant Co., WI the daughter of Frank and Emma (Weisheit) Powell.  She married Rev. LeRoy Peterson on June 21, 1975 at Castle Rock Lutheran Church. Wilma grew up at Liberty Ridge and was confirmed at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ.  She received her nurses training and worked as a CNA for 29 years, retiring from the Fennimore Good Samaritan Society in 1985.  Wilma enjoyed crocheting, cooking, baking
