Harley L. Johnson

Harley L. Johnson, age 68 of Milton, died on Friday Sept. 26, 2014 after a battle with cancer at his sister Janette Spitzbarth’s residence in rural Fennimore.  Harley was born on March 9, 1946 in Fennimore Township, the son of Virgil and Ann (Udelhoven) Johnson. Following graduation from Fennimore High School, Harley worked for a short time at John Deere then began a career at GM in Janesville, WI until retiring as the Dock Manager. Eileen S. Trimble

Eileen S. Trimble, age 61 of Fennimore and formerly of Milwaukee, died on Thursday morning Sept. 25, 2014 at the Fennimore Good Samaritan Society.  Eileen was born on Oct. 5, 1952 in Milwaukee the daughter of Rex and Tennece (Rhode) Trimble.  She was married to Milton Freiberg from 1971 to 1997. Eileen graduated from James Madison High School in 1971.  She then waitressed at George Webb’s in Milwaukee before moving to Fennimore in 2012.  Eileen enjoyed going out for morning coffee, walking, going to the casino, and scratch off tickets.  Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her

Harriet C. Russell

Fennimore – Harriet C. Russell, age 85, moved from this earth to Heaven with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Thursday morning Sept. 18, 2014.  Harriet was born on Jan. 3, 1929 in Boscobel, WI to Luther and Hilda (Everson) Swenson, they farmed the family farm in Homer.  She graduated from Boscobel High School.  Harriet and Paul Russell were married in Lancaster on March 30, 1954.  She worked as a switchboard operator in Fennimore, McDowell’s Nursing Home, Uncle Tom’s Kitchen, and Boscobel Nursing Home in Boscobel. She taught vacation bible school with the Rural Bible Crusade for many years.

Charlotte English

Charlotte English (Knutson), age 91 of Fennimore, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2014 at the Good Samaritan Society in Fennimore, Wisconsin.  Charlotte was born on June 29, 1923 in Wolf Hollow, near Livingston, Wisconsin, the first of seven children of Gilbert and Anita (Gundlach) Knutson.  From an early age Charlotte had an infectious sense of play, probably inherited from her father, a known prankster.  From her mother Charlotte learned the skills of cooking and canning.  Her lefsa, dill pickles and sweet rolls were revered by several generations. Steven A. Bryhan

Lancaster – Steven A. Bryhan, age 54 of Lancaster died on Sunday morning Sept 14, 2014 at the Fennimore Good Samaritan Society in Fennimore. Steven was born on Feb. 9, 1960 in Lancaster the son of Richard and Irene (Eastman) Bryhan. Following graduation from Lancaster High School, Steve earned a degree in Auto Body Repair from Southwest Tech. He worked at Lancaster Auto Body from the age of sixteen until recently retiring after being diagnosed with cancer in April 2014. Painting cars and motorcycles was Steve’s specialty and his level of perfection was impossible to match.  Steve was also very
