Ralph Davies, age 59 of Cobb, died on Saturday evening July 28, 2018, at ManorCare in Platteville. Ralph was born on June 13, 1959, in Dodgeville, WI the son of Ralph and Mary (Hatch) Davies. He married Sheila Ginter on Nov. 28, 1982 in Fennimore.
After graduating from Fennimore High School, Ralph worked for Kramer Brothers Construction pouring concrete for 30 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, raising animals on the farm and cheering for the Packers. He will always be remembered as a hardworking man who deeply loved his family.
Ralph is survived by his beloved wife Sheila of Cobb, three daughters and eight grandchildren; Amber (Toby) Washburn of Livingston and her children Dakota and Braydon Baker, Danielle Davies (Bill Potts) of Lancaster and her children Payton, Alexis and Ava Jo Alvarado, and Autumn (Justin) Tranberg of Boise ID, and their children Jet, Bryson and Delaney. Ralph is also survived by three siblings; Vicky (Kevin) Graf of Dodgeville, Bonnie Davies of Lancaster and Pete (Chris) Davies of Sherrill, IA.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, paternal grandparents George and Rowena Davies, in-laws Cletus and Eva Sue Ginter and nephew Casey Graf.
In following Ralph’s wishes, no funeral service will be held. Private burial of the cremains will be held at a later date. The Larson Family Funeral Home of Fennimore is assisting the family and online condolences may be made at larsonfuneralhomes.com.
