He was born on November 8, 1936; the son of William and Frances (Schnorenberg) Bollant. On October 6, 1959, Gerald married the love of his life, Lavon Collins, at St. Lawrence O’Toole Catholic Church in Mt. Hope. Together, they farmed the family farm in rural Montfort. Rosemary “Rosie” Jane Gluege, age 87, of Livingston passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at Southwest Health Center in Platteville, WI. Rosie was born July 13, 1935, to Gustave and Wally (Richter) Gluege. Rosie worked for the Livingston Co-op for 47 1/2 years. She was the first female bus driver for Iowa-Grant and the first female volunteer for the Livingston Fire Department. Rosie also served as the Village Clerk, Village Trustee, Rock Church Cemetery Secretary and Treasurer and was on their board.
