He was born on February 1, 1986, in Platteville; the son of Charles and Jayne (Gundlach) Sickles. MERRILL – Sally Ann Behncke (formerly of Fennimore), age 87, found her eternal peace on Thursday, December 28, 2023. She was born on January 9, 1936; the daughter of Walter E. and Carol Behnke. Sally had one brother, Maynard (Judy) Behncke, who was her best friend and a sister, Joan (Bob) Bald. From a young age, Sally was a self-taught artist. She dabbled in painting and carving, but her specialty was pencil drawings. She created over 4,000 pencil drawings of people, pets, and buildings. LANCASTER – Marie W. Stoney, age 96, passed away on Monday, December 11, 2023, at Orchard Manor in Lancaster. She was born on July 16, 1927; the daughter of Leonard and Hannah (Koeller) Pierce. Marie married the love of her life, Clarence Stoney, on April 25, 1945. They were lifelong farmers and together they ran their dairy farm in Potosi.
