He was born Feb. 16, 1932 to Elmer and Matilda (Rankin) Haufler in Vassar, Kansas. Theron married Rose Anne Trendel Aug. 15, 1951. Brandon was born March 9, 1993 the son of Al and Pat (Moneypenny) Wester. Brandon attended Fennimore Schools and graduated in 2011.
