Lila L. Biddick, age 82, died on Wednesday evening Dec. 13, 2017, at her residence in Fennimore. Lila was born on Dec. 31, 1934 in Liberty Township, Grant County, WI the daughter of William and Edna (Gratz) Budack. She was united in marriage to Paul Biddick on July 24, 1953.
Lila and Paul first met while they were in high school and remained at each other’s side for 68 years. While Paul managed their farm south of Preston, Lila worked at Rayovac in Fennimore beginning in 1969. Together, they retired in 1998 when they sold the farm and built a house nearby. They remained in the country until moving into Fennimore in the spring of 2014. Lila enjoyed gardening, feeding the birds around her home and completing both crossword and jigsaw puzzles. She also cherished spending time with her family and supporting the grandchildren at all of their sporting events and activities.
Lila is survived by her four children; Debra (Steven) Pittz of Lone Rock, Donald (Barb) Biddick of Stitzer, Douglas (Diane) Biddick of Peosta, IA and Dennis (Lisa) Biddick of Fennimore, 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, brothers; Wilfred (Cheryl) Budack of Stitzer and Ernell Budack of Lancaster, sister-in-law Carol Woodruff of Minneapolis, and brother in laws, Gary (Mary) Biddick of Fennimore, and Calvin Bendorf of Stitzer.
Lila was preceded in death by her husband Paul on April 2, 2017, granddaughter Kristin Pittz; sisters, Wilma (Bill) McCormick and Ruth Bendorf; brother-in-laws, Royce (Marion) Biddick and Lee Woodruff and sister-in-law Linda Budack.
Funeral services will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Sunday evening Dec. 17, 2017 at the Larson Family Funeral Home in Fennimore with visitation from 4:00 P.M. until the time of service at the funeral home. Committal services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday morning Dec. 18, 2017 at Rock Church Cemetery in rural Livingston.
