Dean R. Vogel, age 83, died Sunday, January 9, 2022, at Grant Regional Health Center, Lancaster, WI. He was born June 16, 1938, in Hollandale, WI, the son of Rudy and Hazel (Howell) Vogel. He was united in marriage to Nancy Thiel on July 31, 1965, in Milwaukee, WI.
Dean was a loving Pop’s and Grandpa and lived for his family. Remember everyone; “See You When I See You”.
Dean is survived by his wife Nancy of Fennimore, two children: Stacy (Jay) Laszewski of Jupiter, FL, Doug (Bridget) Vogel of Green Bay, WI, five grandchildren; Abby, Nate and Emma Laszewski and Faith and Paige Vogel, brother Dale (Alice) Vogel of Fennimore, WI, sister Judy Winkers of Onalaska, WI, brother-in-law Gary (Sharon) Thiel of New Berlin, WI, sister-in-law Shirley (Bill) Dodd of Pewaukee, WI, along with nieces and nephews.
Dean was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law Jim Winkers.
Honoring Dean’s wishes there will be no memorial services held at this time. A private family gathering will be held in his honor at a later date. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established in his name. Memorials may be sent to the Larson Family Funeral Home at 925 10th St. Fennimore, WI 53809.
