Crystal Lynn Swindall, age 63, of Cedar Park, TX formerly of Fennimore passed away on Tuesday December 29, 2020 at the Harmony Point Assisted Living in Cedar Park, TX. She was born on October 25, 1957 in Lancaster, Wisconsin the daughter of William and Shirley (Pasold) Block. Crystal was united in marriage to Doug Swindall on June 26, 1982 in Madison, Wisconsin.
Crystal graduated from Fennimore High School and then received her Bachelor of Science degree from U.W. Platteville in Graphic Arts. She was employed at Royal Insurance in Madison until moving to Arlington Heights, IL, and working for AllState Insurance in North Brook, IL. She and Doug moved to Charlotte, NC, then Flower Mound, TX and later to Austin, TX. When starting their family, Crystal was able to stay home and she raised four wonderful children. Crystal was there for all her children’s endeavors. She was also an avid Green Bay Packers fan, and enjoyed sewing and bicycling. Crystal will be remembered as a very kind and warm-hearted individual with a wonderful sense of humor.
Crystal is survived by her four children; Christopher William Swindall of Austin, TX, Jonathan Douglas Swindall of Austin, TX, Nathan Thomas Swindall of Bentonville, AR, and Zachary James Swindall of Austin, TX, a granddaughter Aria Smith, two brothers; Steven and Dale Block, both of Fennimore, along with her ex-husband Doug Swindall of Bentonville, AR.
Crystal was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Duane Block.
A Memorial service along with burial in the Hillside Cemetery in Lancaster will be held at a later date. The Larson Family Funeral Home in Fennimore is assisting the family and cards of sympathy may be sent here at 925 10th St. Fennimore, WI 53809.
