Charlotte Mae Addison, age 76, of Lancaster, WI passed away with her husband and dear friends by her side, on Sunday May 14, 2023, at the Grant Regional Health Center in Lancaster. She was born on June 29, 1946, in Oconto Falls, WI the daughter of Hugo and Germaine (Huser) Deering. Charlotte and Gary met at the Roller Rink in Fennimore in 1962, and they were united in marriage on March 9, 1965, in Columbus, GA.
Charlotte graduated from Iowa-Grant High School and after her marriage to Gary, she and Gary resided in Frankford, Germany where he was stationed while serving in the U.S. Army for 18 months. After returning home, Charlotte began her working career as a unit secretary for the Lancaster Memorial Hospital for 23 years and then worked at Liz Bensley Fritz Chiropractic for 10 years. After her retirement, she and Gary fulfilled a lifelong dream, and traveled the world together. Charlotte also enjoyed sewing and playing cards with dear friends and neighbors. Charlotte loved life, and her willingness to live every day to the fullest will be remembered forever.
Charlotte is survived by her husband Gary Addison of Lancaster, and their dog Jasper.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral Services
A public graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday afternoon, May 18, 2023, at the Liberty Ridge Cemetery in Liberty Township Grant County, WI. Father William Vernon will be officiating. Immediately following the graveside service, the family invites everyone for food and fellowship in the church hall located there at the cemetery.
