Charles "Chuck" W. Strack

charles-strack-picFennimore, WI-Charles “Chuck” W. Strack, age 75 died unexpectedly on Wednesday morning Nov. 30, 2016 at his residence in Fennimore. Chuck was born on July 21, 1941 in Boscobel the son of Chalmer & Leona (Peck) Strack. He was married to Barbara Arms and with this union two children, Crystal and Jean were born. Chuck was then married to Marcia Tarbox and with this union, Roger and Lisa were born.

Chuck worked at Rayovac for over 30 years until he retired. He loved the simple life; spending time at his father’s homestead in Mt. Ida, going camping, boating and enjoying the day at Wyalusing Beach with family and friends, and always had time to be that jokester.

Chuck is survived by his four children; daughter Crystal (Todd) Krachey of Wauzeka and their children; Steven (Ashley) McKillip and their son Jason McKillip, Brady and Dayne Krachey, daughter Jean Patten of Boscobel and her children; Ian Riley, Destiny Helgerson, and Emery Patten, son Roger (Jessie) Strack of Fennimore and their children Shanda and Brett Strack, daughter Lisa (Craig) Hale of Platteville and their children Brandon and Alex Lee, three sisters; Donna Stagman of Boscobel, Lorna (Harold) Tarbox of Olin, IA, and Barb Dressler of Lancaster, along with several nieces and nephews.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, an infant son, grandson Michael Staskal, son-in-law Mitch Staskal, and a sister Linda Fall.

Visitation will be held from 2-5:00 P.M. on Sunday afternoon Dec. 4, 2016 at the Larson Family Funeral Home in Fennimore with a private burial to be held in the Mt. Ida Cemetery. Following through with the wishes of Chuck, no formal funeral services will be held.
