Fennimore, WI-Caroline E. Freymiller, age 59, died unexpectedly on Monday morning March 24, 2014 at her residence in rural Fennimore. Caroline was born on Aug. 25, 1954 in Viroqua, WI the daughter of Leon and Jenette (Revels) Miller. She was united in marriage to Nordell Freymiller on March 8, 1975 in Fennimore.
Caroline enjoyed working on the farm along side her family and husband Nordell. She loved milking cows and wasn’t afraid of the many challenges that life on the farm presented. Caroline also loved spending time in the outdoors fishing and hunting with family, and in her spare time enjoyed refinishing furniture. She was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Fennimore and served as leader of the Plum Valley Boosters 4-H club for many years. Caroline’s family enjoyed her wonderful home cooking and always looked forward to a fresh baked apple pie. Caroline was a very dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother who’s hard work and love of family will forever be cherished.
Caroline is survived by her husband Nordell Freymiller, four children; Tina (Darren) Gratz of Boscobel, Adam (Andrea) Freymiller, Becky (Jeremy) Kopp, and Phillip Freymiller all of Fennimore, seven grandchildren; Megan and Dakota Gratz, Colton and Kelly Freymiller, Mariah, Mackenzie, and Jayden Kopp, four sisters; Joan (Stan) McCullick, of Greenview, IL, Diane (Dean Wade) Ruchti of Rock Falls, IL, Shirley (Chad) Boelk of Monticello, WI, and Jenette Miller of Brodhead, WI, and a brother Gary (Sue) Miller of Argyle, WI.
Caroline was preceded in death by her father Leon on Jan. 24, 1997, mother Jenette on Dec. 16, 1981, and brothers Bill Miller on April 7, 2009, and David Miller on July 6, 2010.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. on Thursday March 27, 2014 at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Fennimore with burial to follow in the Prairie Cemetery. Pastor Charles Miller will be officiating. Visitation will be held from 4-8:00 P.M. on Wednesday evening March 26, 2014 at the Larson Family Funeral Home in Fennimore and from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at the church on Thursday morning.
