Agnes J. Scott, age 93, of Fennimore formerly of Stitzer, passed away on Thursday afternoon December 24, 2020 the Divine Rehabilitation and Nursing in Fennimore. She was born on September 5, 1927 in Belmont the daughter of Louis and Elsie (Lee) Mohlmann Sr. Agnes was united in marriage to Leonard W. Scott on June 30, 1947 in Platteville.
Agnes and Leonard farmed in the Stitzer area all their lives. Agnes loved flowers and working in her vegetable garden. She and Leonard enjoyed dancing to polka music and she enjoyed listening to waltz music. Agnes loved playing board games and cards with her grandchildren.
Agnes is survived by her three children; Connie (Harold) Zeitler of Crosby, MN, Joyce (Ken) Ley of Livingston, and Barb (Tom) Youngell of Green Bay, daughter-in-law Ruth Scott of Stitzer, 14 grandchildren and 14 Great grandchildren along with several special nieces and nephews.
Agnes was preceded in death by her parents, husband Leonard, son Gary, sisters; Daisy Jentz, Edith Siegenthaler, Evelyn McNett, Alice Fortney, Lula Austin, Gladys Haines, brothers; Louis Mohlmann Jr. and George Mohlmann.
Due to the continued pandemic a private funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday January 2, 2021 at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Fennimore. A public committal service at 11:45 A.M. will follow in St. Mary’s Catholic Church Cemetery. If you are planning on attending the committal service, the wearing of a mask will be required.
