Barbara Ann Davidson, age 81, of Fennimore, WI, passed away on Wednesday, March 17, 2021, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison, WI. She was born on April 25, 1939, the daughter of Leonard and Lelia (Place) Iverson. Along with her seven siblings, she grew up in rural Livingston. After high school she moved to Madison, where she met Jack Davidson. They were united in marriage on July 5, 1962. They eventually moved to rural Fennimore, where they raised their children.
Barb had a smile for everyone and never missed a birthday. She enjoyed all social events, whether it was a special occasion or sitting around the kitchen table chatting. She was a natural caretaker. She cared for her beautiful flowerbeds, family, friends, and strangers during her years as a home health aide.
Barb is survived by two siblings, Toni (partner Gary Hoff) Andress of Fitchburg and Roger Iverson of Livingston, and her sister-in-law, Bonnie Brimmer of Livingston.
Barb is survived by her husband, Jack, and three children: Julie (Bill) Kean of Madison, April (Bryon) Green of Monticello, and Scott (Rhonda) Davidson of Mifflin; her grandchildren: Anthony Sennhenn, Alex Sennhenn, Nikki (Brian) Rathbun, Olivia Doyle, Jade (partner Devin Blumer) Green, Jessee (partner Mike Freitheim) Scheidegger; and her great-grandchildren: Xavier Sennhenn, Kaylee Billiot, and Max Freitheim. In addition, she is survived by numerous nieces and nephews on both sides of the family.
Barb loved life, and along with her loved ones, was not quite ready to let go.
A private funeral service will be held on Tuesday March 23, 2021, at the Larson Family Funeral Home in Fennimore, with burial to follow in the Rock Church Cemetery in Clifton Township, Grant County, WI. In lieu of plants and flowers a memorial fund is being established in loving memory of Barbara Davidson. Memorials may be sent to the funeral home at 925 10th St. Fennimore, WI 53809.
