Harold W. "Nip" Leffler

Harold W. “Nip” Leffler, age 85, of Fennimore passed away on Thursday morning November 12, 2020 at the Divine Rehabilitation and Nursing in Fennimore. He was born on March 11, 1935 at the family farm in Crawford County, Wisconsin the son of William and Hester (Wiltrout) Leffler.

Harold graduated from high school and while helping out on the family farm, he began making cheese. He was a cheese maker for the Boscobel Creamery for several years until being employed at Country Delight in Fennimore. “Nip” later worked at Swenson and Sons in Boscobel as an auto detailer along with stuffing papers for the Telegraph Herald. Harold was a jolly man who loved to help others at anytime.

Harold is survived by his two brothers; Glen (Diane) Leffler of Bagley, and Larry (Charlotte) Leffler of Fennimore, six special nephews and nieces; David (Jeannie) Leffler, Daniel Leffler, Walter (Stacy) Leffler, Lynn Leffler, Benji Leffler, and Holly (Nate) Gilberts, and loving great nieces and nephews.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Charles Leffler.

A private graveside memorial service will be held at a later date at the Greenwood Cemetery in Blue River, Wisconsin. The Larson Family Funeral Home in Fennimore is assisting the family and cards of sympathy may be send here at 925 10th St. Fennimore, WI 53809.
