Kathleen Ann “Kathy” Dailey, age 63, of Fennimore passed away on Saturday morning October 3, 2020 at her residence in rural Fennimore. She was born on May 14, 1957 in Park Falls the daughter of Donald M. and Lucille R. (Laberge) Dailey.
Kathy graduated from Superior Senior High in the class of 1975. She furthered her education by attending the University of Wisconsin, Superior. After college Kathy became a private contractor for the Grant County Sheriff’s Department. Kathy dedicated her life to owning and operating the Grant Country Jail kitchen for 40 years and retired in December 2018.
She also enjoyed the adventures life offered her. She was able to live in Turkey along with multiple cities throughout Wisconsin. Kathy loved to ride her Harley motorcycle and trail bike, traveling and always felt very blessed with a wonderful life.
Kathy is survived by her pet family, her dog Lucy, and her two cats; Desi and Wink, her adopted family; Sarah and Steve Jeardeau of Fennimore, a dear friend Ray Kapfamer of Milwaukee, her sister Marie (William) Salen of Bellingham, WA, along with three nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents Donald and Lucille Dailey and her brother Mark Dailey.
Honoring the request of Kathy, there will be no formal memorial services held in her honor. The Larson Family Funeral Home is assisting the family and memorials of cards of sympathy may be sent here at 925 10th St. Fennimore, WI 53809.
