Dennis John O’Flahrity, age 70, of Lancaster passed away on Wednesday August 5, 2020 at the Orchard Manor in Lancaster. He was born on November 24, 1949 in Boscobel the son of William Victor and Mary Janet (Smith) O’Flahrity.
Dennis loved spending days on the farm and being around his family. His personality was truly one of a kind could always bring a smile to ones face. Dennis was received, with open arms, into the eternal kingdom by our Lord and his dear family and friends who have gone before. The family would like to thank the Orchard Manor for their excellent care and kindness given to Dennis.
Dennis is survived by his brother Dan (Karen) O’Flahrity of Eldridge, IA, brother-in-law Jerry Borowski of Byron, MN, step sister Kim (Dave) Streif of Fennimore, step sister-in-law Lisa Loy of Plainfield, IL and many special nieces and nephews.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, brother David O’Flahrity, sister Kathryn Borowski, step father Dean Loy, and step brother Paul Loy.
Private funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday afternoon August 9, 2020 at the Larson Family Funeral Home in Fennimore with burial to follow in the St. Mary’s Catholic Church Cemetery in Fennimore. Visitation for family will be held from 1:00 P.M. until the time of service at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon.
