Sarah Kymberly Walker, Yakima, Washington passed away on January 10, 2020.
She was born on February 27th, 1982, in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. When Sarah was in third grade, her family moved to Bruce, and later moving to Fennimore when she was a Freshman. Sarah graduated from Fennimore in 2000, and would attend UW-La Crosse.
In 2005, Sarah moved to Granite City, Illinois, with her parents, where she would eventually meet her soulmate, Donnie McNeil while playing cribbage online. Sarah then moved to Spokane, Washington to be with Donnie and his children, Naomi and Jacob. They had their only child, Brayden Avery McNeil in 2007. Sarah’s final move was to Yakima, Washington where she cared for her father-in-law, Norm. She was educating her son, and taking care of Norm in the last years of her life.
Sarah went to sleep on January 9th, and woke with the Angels. Sarah is survived by the love of her life, Donnie, son, Brayden, step-daughter, Naomi McNeil, step-son, Jacob McNeil, as well as her parents, Earl and Beth Ward, and her sisters, Jenni (Zach) Fotzler and Ashley (Kane Edge) Walker, her maternal Granny, Janann Barnes, as well as her nieces and nephews, Mykala, Aubrey, Ryker, and Tripp. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday Feb. 1, 2020 at the Fennimore United Methodist Church in Fennimore, WI with a time of food and fellowship to immediately follow in the church hall. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service at the church on Saturday morning. The Larson Family Funeral Home of Fennimore is assisting the family.
