Dawn E. Lingard

Dawn Elizabeth (Luebker) Lingard, age 55, of Madison passed away peacefully on Sunday May 12, 2019. Dawn was born November 20, 1963 to Gene and Shirley Luebker in Cedar Falls, IA. She grew up on a family farm on the bluffs above Woodman, WI. After graduation from Boscobel High School, she moved to Madison.

You could often find Dawn watching the Green Bay Packers, Wisconsin Badgers, John Wayne movies, or reading a book in the sun. Dawn recently got involved and was a large booster and fan for the Wisconsin Rugby Club. She loved her pets Moose, Cassidy, and Sharkie and especially her cats Tia and Maria. Dawn loved celebrating family gatherings and holidays, especially her favorite, Mount Hope Dairy Day. Dawn’s siblings, nieces, and nephews have many cherished memories of moments they shared with her. She was always ready with a joke and loved making people laugh. Her sense of humor, advice, and companionship will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Dawn was preceded in death by her parents Shirley and Gene Luebker, as well as her brother-in-law Bradley Wachter.

Dawn is survived by her loving siblings Denise Wachter, Deb Luebker, Dee (Joseph) Van Ruyven, Dan Luebker (Pat Reid) and brother David Luebker and sister Diana Brockway. Also surviving are her beloved nieces and nephews Wade (Molly) Winkers, Billi Jo (Ted) Liebfried, Travis (Trinity) Winkers, Kassie (Jonathan) Reynolds, Kelly Wachter, Katrina and Joselyn Van Ruyven (Dakota), Tyrell Luebker, Sarah Brockway and many great-nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until time of service at the Larson Family Funeral Home in Fennimore. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday May 18, 2019, at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Fennimore with burial in the St. Lawrence O’toole Catholic Church Cemetery rural Mt. Hope. In lieu of plants and flowers a memorial fund is being established in loving memory of Dawn Lingard.
