Kim M. Haser

Kim M. Haser, age 60, of Boscobel, died on Saturday evening Nov. 4, 2017, surrounded by her loving family at her residence in Hickory Grove Township. Kim was born on April 3, 1957 in Fort Atkinson the daughter of Robert and Valerie (Bigelow) Heitz. She married Darwyn Haser on January 15, 1977 in Fort Atkinson.

Kim and Darwyn farmed in the Richland Center area for 11 years before moving to Plain and later Hickory Grove Township, rural Boscobel, where they have resided for the past 22 years. Kim worked at Lands End in Dodgeville for over twenty years. She has been employed as a logistics coordinator with Transplace at Biddick Inc. in Livingston for the past 8 years. Kim enjoyed working out everyday and teaching aerobics several nights a week at the Symons Recreation Complex in Richland Center. She also enjoyed snowmobiling, going to movies, reading, hiking, cheering on the Brewers, Packers and Badgers and spending time with her many cats. Kim’s family was her greatest joy and she cherished the time spent together for holidays and the trips she was able to take with her children. She was a loving and caring person who found great satisfaction in pleasing others.

Kim is survived by her beloved husband of over 40 years, Darwyn, two children, Joe (Noelle) Haser of Stoughton and Kari (Brenda) Haser of Monona, three grandchildren, Elaine, Lucy and Evelyn Haser, father Robert Heitz of Florida, brother Steve (Patti) Heitz of Fort Atkinson, and sister-in-law Judy (Larry) Nugent of Fennimore.

Kim was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Valerie and Alex LaVigne.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday Nov. 10, 2017 at the Larson Family Funeral Home in Fennimore with Pastor Luke Hess officiating. Burial of the cremains will be held at a later date. Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. on Thursday evening Nov. 9, 2017 at Larson Family Funeral Home in Fennimore and from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at the funeral home on Friday morning. In lieu of plants and flowers, a memorial fund is being established in loving memory of Kim M. Haser.
