Lancaster, WI formerly of Cobb, WI- Lyle Molzof, age 76, died on Monday morning June 6, 2016 at the Grant Regional Health Center in Lancaster. He was born on July 2, 1939 in Annaton, WI the son of Edward and Elnora (Kitelinger) Molzof. Lyle was united in marriage to Mary Ann Klais on May 6th, 1967, at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ.
Lyle worked as a licensed cheese maker and milk truck driver for several cheese factories thru out Grant and Iowa Counties. He later worked at Walnut Hollow Farms is Dodgeville before retiring in 2002. Lyle was a fun and loving man who enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching old movies and playing euchre and Arizona rummy. There was rarely a dull moment when spending time with Lyle as his stories and jokes kept everyone entertained. Lyle’s love of family and wise guy personality will forever be cherished.
Lyle is survived by his beloved wife Mary Ann of Lancaster, two sons Edward (Sharon) Molzof of Stoughton and Jeffrey Molzof of Lancaster, three granddaughters; Tamika (Logan) Swinehart of Oregon, WI, Tara (Tanner Ness) Wunsch of Sun Prairie, and Tanessa Wunsch of Madison, great-grandson Tucker Ness and special aunt June Klais of Stitzer.
Lyle was preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Wilbur, Ernest, Harry, Steve, and Arkie Molzof and sisters; Dorothy Kitelinger, Norma Molzof and Catherine Tucker.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday June 11, 2016 at St. Paul’s Liberty Ridge Church in Liberty Township Grant Co., WI. Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service at the church on Saturday morning. In lieu of plants and flowers, a memorial fund is being established in loving memory of Lyle Molzof. The Soman-Larson Funeral Home of Montfort is assisting the family
