Beverly J. Carl

FENNIMORE – Beverly J. Carl, age 79, passed away on Sunday July 12, 2026, at Dove Healthcare in Fennimore. She was born on April 1, 1947, the daughter of Leonard and Marian (Franzen) Carl.

Beverly devoted 30 years of her life as a home health aide in Des Moines, where she provided personal care services to many disabled and elderly in the community. While living in Des Moines, Beverly owned “Beverly’s Fine Goodies”, selling her award-winning pies, jams, and jellies. She was an avid Iowa state fair contestant, winning many blue ribbons over the years for her pies. She loved baking and sewing and could be found selling her creations at the farmers market for over 30 years.

After moving back to Wisconsin, Beverly was an active member at St. Thomas Catholic Parish in Montfort. She volunteered with the Lion’s club and was also a volunteer with the Foster Grandparent Program for area schools. Beverly was elected Citizen of the Year in Livingston and enjoyed being recognized in the local parade.

One of Beverly’s passions was donating her time to area food pantries. And in honor of that, her wishes were for no plants and flowers to be sent to her funeral. Rather, she requested any memorials being considered should be given to a local food pantry of your choosing.

Beverly is survived by her two sons, Ron Gabaldon and Scott Gabaldon and grandson, David Gabaldon. She is further survived by her siblings: Michael Carl, Colleen Carl, Barbara (Ron) Larson, Marvin (Tina) Carl, Rita (Vince) Lease, Mitch (Darlene) Carl, and Michele Carl; sister-in-law, Chris Carl, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Thomas Gabaldon; siblings: Malcom Carl, Lavonne Carl, Marlin Carl, and Janet Carl; and sister-in-law Cindy Carl.
