Carolyn M. Grim

MONTFORT - Today, we find ourselves at a loss for words as we try to express the sadness we feel. Carolyn M. Grim, passed away peacefully in her sleep, Saturday morning at Sienna Crest Assisted Living, in Dodgeville, WI at the age of 88. Born to Charlie and Margaret McCann, formerly of Trout Crick, WI, on January 8, 1938. Carolyn leaves behind her eldest son Danny Grim, her youngest son Johnny Grim, grandchildren, along with many brothers, nieces and nephews. Losing her leaves a space in our hearts that no one else could ever fill. She was more than just family—she was a friend, a mother, a wife, a grandmother, a confidante, and a source of warmth and love that made life brighter.

Her kindness, laughter, and gentle spirit touched everyone who knew her, and her presence could light up a room in the darkest of times. She had a way of making people feel special, of offering wisdom without judgment, and of bringing joy with her presence. The memories she gave us—her stories, the trips, her plans, her cooking, her hugs, and the moments of simple joy—will forever be treasured, and the adventures never forgotten.

She taught so many so much without even trying, how to be strong yet gentle, how to face life’s challenges with grace, and how to love deeply and unconditionally. Though her time here has ended, her impact lives on in the lessons she taught and the love she gave.

While we wish there had been more time, we are grateful for the time we had. We will carry her memory with us always, honoring her by living with the same kindness and warmth she showed every day.

Rest peacefully, as your light may no longer shine among us, it will forever glow in our hearts.
