Keith J. Novinska

FENNIMORE – Keith J. Novinska, age 84 passed away on Thursday morning May 1, 2025, at Gundersen Boscobel Hospital in Boscobel. He was born on June 17, 1940, in Fennimore Township Grant County, WI. Keith was united in marriage to Ann Doyle on February 27, 1965, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Fennimore.

Keith graduated from Fennimore High School in 1959 and shortly after, joined the United States Army and served as an FA rocket crewman from April 20, 1960 to April 30, 1962. When Keith returned home from service, he began working for Mac McKinley and eventually purchased Engine Parts in the late eighties. He owned and operated the store in Fennimore until his retirement in 2005. As teenager, Keith worked as a pin setter for the bowling alley, sparking his love of bowling. He participated on many bowling leagues over the years.

Keith loved his community and was active with the Fennimore fire department for 25 years. He also spent time volunteering his talent as a handyman with the Railroad Museum and the Doll and Toy Museum. He was long time member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and was awarded “Citizen of the Year” in 2018. Keith and Ann enjoyed travelling over the years with their close friends, including an anniversary trip to Europe and many cruises. Although Keith was a man of few words, his desire to help and serve never wavered. He would lend a helping hand to anybody at any time, without hesitation. He was generous with his time and talent. Keith was very easy going and enjoyed cruising around in the convertible with Ann.

Keith is survived by his son Tony (Missy) Novinska of Greendale, and daughter Thea (Dave) Faliski of Madison; five grandchildren: Isabelle (fiancé Joseph Pokrzywa) Novinska, Steven Novinska, and Joel, Davis, and Charles Faliski; siblings: Stan “Buck” (Mary) Novinska of Fennimore, Thelma Washburn of Elkhorn, Kenneth (Cindy) Novinska of Oconomowoc, Stephen “Tino” (Rita) Novinska of Fennimore, Alice Brown of Janesville, LaVern Novinska of Pulaski,  and Irene (Gene) Molzof of Rockford, IL; along with many special nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Keith was preceded in death by his parents; wife Ann on February 3, 2020; three brothers: Robert “Bob” (Kay) Novinska, infant brother LeRoy Novinska, and Private Allen “Pete” Novinska; brother-in-law John Brown; and former sisters in-law Tari Novinska and Trudy Rae.
