BOSCOBEL - Evelyn A. “Mollie” Kieffer, age 90, of Boscobel formerly of Fennimore, passed away with her family by her side on Thursday evening December 12, 2024, at the Boscobel Care Center. She was born on August 3, 1934, in Cassville; the daughter of Fred and Myrtle (Cornell) Martin.
Mollie lost her mother at the age of seven and her father at the age of nine, which resulted in her being raised by her six older siblings. She graduated from the Wauzeka High School and was united in marriage to James Anderson. Together they had three children, Rodric, Jay and Sue Ella.
Mollie worked as a CNA at the Boscobel Hospital and later at the Good Samaritan Center in Fennimore. She continued her education and graduated from the first Nursing program offered at the Southwest Technical College in Fennimore. Mollie was later married to Carl Kieffer, and she worked as a nurse at Luther Manor in Dubuque, IA until her retirement. She and Carl moved to Boscobel to be closer to her children and grandchildren. Mollie’s most cherished loves where watching her grandchildren grow and was blessed to see her great grandchildren Bella and Noah.
Mollie was an active member of the St. Peter Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday School for several years. She had an unconditional love for everyone. Mollie enjoyed music, Dancing, having a good laugh, and spending time with family. Her beautiful smile, her hugs and kisses, and endless love will never be forgotten.
Mollie is survived by her two children “Jay” Anderson and Sue Ella Anderson; grandchildren: Justin (Sobe) Dull, Jonathon (Libby) Dull, Shyla Anderson, Jessica Theiling; step grandson Jason (Maddie) Dull; great grandchildren, Bella and Noah Dull; many nieces and nephews; and special friends, Roddy and Lorinda Dull.

Anderson; late husband Carl Kieffer; brothers and sisters: Gertrude Beeseker, Dorothy Schneider, Floyd “Pood” Martin, Keith “Pete” Martin, Carl Martin, Hazel Klais, Letha Eck; and best friend, Jane Napp.
