PATCH GROVE - Patricia “Pat or Trish” Shaklee, age 68, passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at her home. Trish was born on July 7th, 1956; the daughter of Arthur and Doris (White) Fremont.
In her younger years, Trish was wanderlust. She never wanted to stay in one place. She loved traveling all over. She lived in Idaho and Nevada for much of her years before she moved back home in 2003.
After Trish had come back home she met her late partner, Brad Harvey who she adored dearly. Together, they lived out in the country and he supported her passion of helping animals no matter what species they were.
In addition to her love of traveling, she had a huge passion for animals. She rescued anything that was in need. Skunks, raccoons, deer, squirrels you name it she was helping the voiceless. She would bottle feed raccoons that her late partner Brad would bring home, and she loved her pups. Brad and her had a very loved papillon named Candy and later had dogs named Lexi and Ella.
Trish had a caring and loving soul. She worked in group homes caring for disabled people. She enjoyed her work very much. She would be able to take her clients out shopping, fishing, hobbies they liked to do and just enjoy life with them.
Trish is survived by her son, Chad Phelps and daughter, Dawn Phelps; granddaughters, Autumn Phelps and Alyssa Phelps; grandson Roman Yager; brother, Steve Fremont; sister, Julie Fremont; good friend, Shelly Humphrey and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; partner, Brad Harvey; dogs, Candy and Lexi; brother, Rick Fremont; niece, Monica Fremont; many aunts and uncles.
