Lawrence “Larry” A. Lenzendorf

FENNIMORE – Lawrence “Larry” A. Lenzendorf, age 74, passed away on Tuesday July 9, 2024, at Mercy Medical Center in Dubuque. He was born on January 8, 1950; the son of Earl and Dorothy (Burrows) Lenzendorf.

Larry grew up in the Fennimore area and spent most of his life driving truck. He was a car enthusiast and enjoyed tearing them apart and putting them back together. He was proud of his collection of model cars as well. Larry was a simple guy who enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and tinkering on any project he could come up with.

Larry is survived by his children: Adam (Meghann) Rath, Seth (Patricia) Lenzendorf, and Brittani (Damon) Schexnayder; 13 grandchildren: Harleigh, Lola, Piper, Aaron, Aiden, Sadie, Jules, Laura, Scarlett, Damaris, Kinnedy, Kiana, and Jakob; one great grandson, Ryker; and siblings: Elaine Larson, Vernon (Mary Ann) Lenzendorf, Mary Jo Lenzendorf, and Norma Lenzendorf. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter,  Nicole Wheeler; 2 grandchildren, Christian and Neveah; brother in-law, John Larson; and Mary Jo’s significant other, Rich Reindl.
