Russell H. Mumm

DODGEVILLE – Heaven opened up another spot at the euchre table for Russell H. Mumm. Russell, age 62, passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2023, at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital – Madison. Russell was born on June 3, 1961; the son of William J. and Lela M. (Edge) Mumm. He graduated from Iowa-Grant High School in 1979 and worked in the trucking and farming industry for most of his life. Russell loved to spend time with his family enjoying a good meal or playing a card game, especially euchre. Russell was always on the move to help everyone.  Heaven received an angel with a huge heart.

Russel is survived by six siblings: Janet Needham, Bev Mumm, Mary (Mac) Mumm-McDermid, Brenda (Dave) Shemak, Dale Mumm, and Rosa Mumm; and numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers: Frank, Jim, and Richard Mumm.

Russell’s family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Dodgeville EMS crew, the Dodgeville Hospital ER staff, and St. Mary’s Hospitals ICU staff for their compassionate care over the last few days.
