Martin Paul Rector, age 93, of Fennimore, WI passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday morning October 19, 2022, at his residence in Fennimore. He was born on June 20, 1929, in Wingville Township Grant Co., WI the son of Fredrick and Lora (Ellis) Rector.
Paul graduated in 1948 from Anaheim High School in California. He worked most of his life as a mechanic and drove school bus for Fennimore Schools. On June 26, 1951, he was united in marriage to Dolores Brodt. They lived in Lancaster and Fennimore the majority of their lives.
Paul is survived by his five children: Tom (Marie) Rector, Royce (Sue) Rector, Doug (Lynn Byrne) Rector, Nadine (John) Schrader, and Larry (Kristie) Rector, along with his 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, wife Dolores on August 19, 2008, daughter-in-law Madonna Rector, two brothers Robert and Albert Rector, and two sisters Joyce Faulkner and Mary Noble.
The family would like to thank the staff and residents of Sunset Fields along with the Meal Site for making our father’s last years enjoyable.
Visitation
Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service at the church on Monday morning.
Funeral Services
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday October 24, 2022, at the Fennimore United Methodist Church in Fennimore with burial to follow in the Prairie Cemetery in Fennimore.
In lieu of plants and flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Loving Memory of Paul Rector.
