Fennimore, WI- Donna Jean Riemenapp, age 80 died on Thursday evening Nov. 14, 2014 surrounded by her loving family at her residence in Fennimore/Preston after a 6 month battle with cancer. Donna was born on July 22, 1933 the daughter of Vince and Juanita (Oates) Schuler. She married Bernard “Ben” Riemenapp on May 25, 1950.
In 1975, Donna went to work at Rayovac in Fennimore until retiring in 1998. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother that adored her family and was there for them whenever she was needed. She was an awesome cook and also enjoyed working outside with her flowers and in her garden. Donna was passionate about serving her Lord. She was an active member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and for the past 15 years never missed her Friday chapel hour. Donna’s memory will be cherished and she will be deeply missed by her beloved husband, children, and grandchildren.
Donna is survived by her husband Ben of Fennimore, seven children; Pat (Lonnie) Freymiller of Fennimore, Charles (Penny) Riemenapp of Boscobel, Donita (Steve Pasold) Bender of Blue River, Ken (Loretta) Riemenapp of Montfort, Kurt (Kathi) Riemenapp of Dodgeville, Torri (Randy) Govier of Fennimore, and Kevin (Mary Nuenthel) of Montfort, 19 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, brother Allen (Cheryl) Schuler of New Glarus, and sister-in-law Mary Schuler of Platteville.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Neal Schuler.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday Nov. 18, 2013 at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Fennimore with Pastor Charles Miller officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Catholic Church Cemetery in Fennimore. A visitation will be held from 3 – 7:00 P.M. on Sunday evening Nov. 17, 2013 at the Larson Family Funeral Home in Fennimore and from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at the church on Monday morning.
