Alice L. Fuller

Alice L. Fuller, age 94, of Fennimore, formerly of Lancaster died on Tuesday morning July 10, 2012 at Orchard Manor in Lancaster.  Alice was born on March 20, 1918 in Hurricane, WI the daughter of Thomas & Anna (Udelhoven) Wieland.  She was united in marriage to Glenn Fuller on June 24, 1937 in Rock Island, IL.

Alice attended the Boice Creek rural school. Following school, she and Glenn farmed side by side for many years while being a wonderful homemaker for her family. Alice then went to work at Loud Speaker Component and then the Cobb Canning Factory until managing and operating the “U-Fill” gas station in Lancaster. Alice was a great gardener that was blessed with a green thumb especially when growing her African Violets. Alice had many talents such as crocheting, making doilies, afghans and quilts. She also enjoyed going fishing, picking berries, and a good game of 500. Alice was a woman of great faith with strong Christian values that set a great example for her family.

Alice is survived by her four children; Margie (Lavern) Ransom of Janesville, Janice (Richard) Rau of Greenfield, Judy (Dick) McCluskey of Fennimore, and Roger (Gloria) Fuller of Lancaster; 13 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents, Husband; Glenn in 1991, her son; Marlin Fuller in 1967, a grandson, Warren Ransom, and her sister; Mabel Martin.

A gathering to celebrate the life of Alice L. Fuller with remembrances, food, and fellowship will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday July 12, 2012 at the Orchard Manor Residence Center in Lancaster.  The Larson Family Funeral Home of Fennimore is assisting the family.
