FENNIMORE – Carl Otinius Peterson, age 89, passed away on Friday July 17, 2026, at Emplify Health in Boscobel. He was born on February 23, 1937, in Hickory Grove Township, Grant County, Wisconsin the son of O.J. and Sadie (Armfield) Peterson. Carl grew up in the Hickory Grove Township.  As a young boy, he attended the Ideal School and Breezy Hill School until the eighth grade then to Fennimore High School and graduated in 1955. LIVINGSTON – Scott E. Wells, age 67, passed away on Saturday July 11, 2026.   Scott was born on July 16, 1958, the son of Kenneth and Beverly (Knutson) Wells in Platteville, WI.  Scott called Livingston home for most of his life, where he had family and many friends. Scott was known to be the best bartender around and could make a mean Old Fashion.  He loved his family and Christmas Eves at Grandma Wells with all the uncles, aunts, and cousins were always the best. FENNIMORE – Beverly J. Carl, age 79, passed away on Sunday July 12, 2026, at Dove Healthcare in Fennimore. She was born on April 1, 1947, the daughter of Leonard and Marian (Franzen) Carl. Beverly devoted 30 years of her life as a home health aide in Des Moines, where she provided personal care services to many disabled and elderly in the community. While living in Des Moines, Beverly owned “Beverly’s Fine Goodies”, selling her award-winning pies, jams, and jellies. FENNIMORE – Duane Allen Kittleson (DAK), 81, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2026, in Fennimore, Wisconsin. Duane was born on May 29, 1945, in Madison, Wisconsin to Sanford and Nina Kittleson. He was raised in Mt. Vernon, graduated from Mt. Horeb High School with the Class of 1963, and began a life defined by hard work and a drive to succeed. CASSVILLE – Steven C. Cushman, age 77, passed away on Sunday morning, July 5, 2026, at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison. He was born on January 22, 1949, in Livingston the son of Cyril “Pat” and Helen (Wehnke) Cushman. Steve was united in marriage to the love of his life for 55 years, Judy Kieler on January 30, 1971, in Cuba City. Steve graduated from Iowa-Grant High School in 1967 and went to MATC where he enrolled in the Diesel Mechanic program. He then attended Southwest Tech for their auto mechanic course. Steve began his career as a
